Initiating Discipline & Conducting a Disciplinary Enquiry
This course has been designed to develop the skills of those who are newly appointed, or about to be appointed, into team leadership or managerial positions. This course will assist delegates to assert themselves as team leaders and quickly gain the respect of their team. It will also provide a structure that will guide the new leader to succeed in their management role.
Who should attend: Management roles that will benefit from this workshop include supervisors, line managers, team leaders and junior managers. The size of team that report into the role can be between one and fifty. More established managers, who have previously attended the course, are welcome to attend the course as a refresher.
Workshop outline & Objectives:
•Assessing the characteristics of successful leaders
•Understanding the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-leadership
•Identifying and understanding your locus of control
•Applying the concept of the self-thought motivational cycle to our understanding of self and the motivation of others
•Determining exactly what motivates you in your work environment
•Understanding the importance a course of action and goal setting
•Developing the necessary resources in order to effectively accomplish tasks in the workplace
